Liz Pattinson

Associate Director – Projects Group, CBRE

Liz specialises as a project manager with over 13 years of experience.  Having started her career as a chartered building surveyor, Liz currently works within the master planning and strategic sites team which focuses on the delivery of large urban developments.  Liz has a broad range of experience working with developers, corporate clients and local authorities to deliver infrastructure, residential, education and leisure development schemes ranging in value from £5m to £4.2b. As well as providing strategic advice and managing multi-disciplinary project delivery teams, Liz is skilled at managing complex and challenging projects throughout the development lifecycle from planning, design development and construction delivery through vigilant cost, risk and programme management, and stakeholder management.

Whilst completing her degree, Liz developed a particular interest in inclusive design, which considers how everyone, regardless of physical ability, accesses, uses and interacts with the built environment.  As a result, Liz also specialises in Access Consultancy; providing a spectrum of consultancy services including access appraisals, strategies, access audits, access management plans, and advises clients on how to meet their obligations under current legislation.  She has also delivered a number of access statements for large mixed use residential-led development scheme planning applications of up to 2,000 units, working closely with design teams, relevant statutory bodies and access groups.

Within CBRE Liz heads up the Access Consultancy Best Practice Group and is also a committee member of Multi-Cultural Network. Outside of work, Liz is a devoted wife, and dedicated mother of two young children.
