Liz Loughran runs a practice that provides strategic, policy and development advice on projects including planning applications for housing (and extra care), mixed-use development and masterplaning. She has been practising as a dual qualified consultant in town planning and law for 25+ years (chartered town planner, formerly a solicitor) advising both public and private sectors.
Liz advises on planning and regulatory matters in terms of project merits, risks and opportunities. She is a member of the advisory team for the Healthy Homes Bill (due for introduction in early 2021). Liz advises on a proposal for a forthcoming international standard on smart multigenerational neighbourhoods. This ISO Standard will bring together new approaches to the design of neighbourhood housing, the integration of health systems and citizen engagement. Liz promotes gender equality, diversity & inclusion in the built environment professions. She is a former Director for Women in Sustainable Construction & Property.
