Director of Business Development at Distrito Castellana Norte
With a career spanning over 16 years in the real estate sector; Carmen has held the position of Business Director of DCN (Castellana Norte District) since 2018. Carmen is also the Academic Director of the Master in Real Estate Development at IE University and Vice President and founder of the WIRES association (Women in Real Estate Spain).
She occupies other positions of responsibility in associations such as ULI (Urban Land Institute), where she is responsible for institutional relations at ULI Madrid. Carmen is also part of the Executive Committee of Club IE Real Estate.
Carmen has previously worked in the Estudio Lamela SL occupying several positions of responsibility, such as Business Director. From 2014 to 2018, she worked for CBRE, initially launching and directing the Client Care & Business Development Department, strategic accounts management department – top clients in Spain -, and later directing the Development Services Department focussing on maximising the value of the real estate assets through asset repositioning.
Carmen is an Architect, graduating from the School of Architecture of Madrid in 2002. She is also an MRICS accredited professional, having completed the Management and Consulting pathway, and has further trained at the IE (Instituto de Empresa) attending the Project Management and Strategic Management Programmes, Corporate Finance and Digital Marketing. In 2016, Carmen participated in the Further Education Programme of Management of High Performance Teams at the ESADE.
Carmen received the IE Woman of the Month Award in May 2015 and the Women and Leadership Programme Scholarship at the Aliter International Business School in 2011, granted by the Rafael del Pino Foundation (Grupo Ferrovial).
Trayectoria de más de 16 años en el sector inmobiliario; desde 2018 ocupa el puesto de Directora de Negocio de DCN (Distrito Castellana Norte), también de Directora académica del Master in Real Estate Development en IE University y Vicepresidente y fundadora de la asociación WIRES (Women in Real Estate Spain).
Ocupa otros puestos de responsabilidad en otras asociaciones como ULI (Urban Land Institute), donde es la responsable de relaciones institucionales de ULI Madrid y es parte del Comité Ejecutivo del Club IE Real Estate.
Desde 2014 trabajó para CBRE, al inicio lanzando y dirigiendo el Departamento de Client Care & Business Development, departamento de gestión de las cuentas estratégicas – top clients de España -, y posteriormente dirigiendo el Departamento de Development Services centrado en maximizar el valor de los activos inmobiliarios a través del reposicionamiento de los mismos y anteriormente 10 años en el Estudio Lamela SL ocupando varios puestos de responsabilidad y los últimos 6 como Directora de Negocio.
Arquitecto Superior por la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid en 2002, profesional acreditado MRICS por la rama de Gestión y Consultoría, y formación complementaria en el IE (Instituto de Empresa) con: un Programa Superior de Dirección y Gestión Estratégica de Proyectos, otro de Corporate Finance y otro de Marketing Digital. En 2016, participó del programa Superior en ESADE de Gestión de Equipos de Alto Rendimiento.
Premio IE Woman of the Month (Mayo 2015), beca en 2011 por la Fundación Rafael del Pino (Grupo Ferrovial) para Programa: Mujer y Liderazgo, en la Escuela Internacional de Negocios Aliter.
