Networking Isn’t Easy, but It Is Crucial for Women in Real Estate
TUESDAY, 31 January 2016
6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
WEWORK, OLD STREET, LONDON
41 CORSHAM STREET, LONDON N1 6DR
Women executives trail men in connections that can help their careers. So let’s learn how to strategize during networking events to make important new connections.
According to data collected in a study of 118 companies by LeanIn.Org and McKinsey & Co., women have fewer contacts than men with work colleagues and fewer business connections outside work that could help them in their careers.
It is okay to be transactional and focused on your networking goals. Make yourself go to the pub or drinks party to raise your profile, while staying true to your values.
In this event, we will have lots of opportunities to network, so be prepared to learn new networking skills, put them in practice and enjoy meeting new and old friends. Don’t forget to bring lots of business cards!
