Head of Retail Real Estate Germany, Nuveen Global

Kathrin is responsible for the strategic management of the Retail Portfolio in Germany. The portfolio consists of two large shopping centres, 27 hybrid malls and retail parks and two outlets at an AUM of €2.2bln.

She is also advises the fund management and investment team in regard to acquisitions and disposals. Together with her team, she follows a proactive and strategic asset management approach and specifically works on implementing asset management initiatives to secure and enhance value, identify uplift potential and Kathrin to ensure that the targeted returns are met.

Before joining Nuveen Real Estate in 2012, Kathrin spent 11 years working in corporate finance and property/asset management at Cushman & Wakefield LLP. She entered the real estate industry in 2000.
