Hosted by RICS and in collaboration with Warwick Business School and University of Birmingham, Real Estate Women is delighted to present you with our next roundtable to discuss the gender pay gap in real estate and surveying.
An insight report published by RICS in July 2023 – Women in surveying: insight report – concluded that women in surveying and the wider built environment sector face recurring chanllenges throughout their careers due to:
- discrimination
- bias (whether unconscious or intentional) and
- inequity in opportunities and systemic practices
This roundtable is part of the research project carried out by Dr. Fuk Ying Tse – Assistant Professor in Organisation, Work and Employment at the University of Birmingham, and Dr. Manuela Galetto – Associate Professor at Warwick Business School.
