CF Logo 1

In this course, delegates will be introduced to Property as an asset class for investment purposes. We will look at what makes the property industry tick: how property is built, used, re-used, let, designed, sold and valued in the UK and across the world. In addition, we will look at how its characteristics compare to the other asset classes such as stocks and bonds. We will explain the vocabulary and how it all fits together!

As this course exposes our delegates to the broader concept of real estate as an investment asset, we will bring to life the real estate system, market analysis and urban economics with real case studies. Our delegates are be given opportunities to practice how to use real data and how property has come about and operates in the capital markets.

Who should attend this course:

This course is aimed at professionals without a formal real estate or surveying qualification who are currently working for banks, property consultancies, planning, architecture and tech companies, data or software providers, law firms and construction companies. The idea is to fill in the knowledge gaps of those seeking to understand the real estate jargon so they can better communicate and influence clients and colleagues.

Cambridge Finance & Property Overview provided an Introduction to Property course to our team of researchers, senior directors and sales and marketing professionals. We covered a lot of ground in one day and were delighted with the quality of the course.  It was particularly helpful to be able to work with the tutors beforehand to tailor the content to our employees’ learning needs. As a result of this course our team can now better understand and address our customers’ needs and, in turn, target and communicate with them more effectively. Many thanks! ”
